Any time that there is spam or an inappropriate message on TIFA Talk, it is because the Google spam filters did not catch it.  If it is there for very long, it is because I have not been made aware of it.  At one time, TIFA Talk was very active and a great place to support each other and share information.  It is seldom used now, so we will be shutting it down in the next 6 months.  We now have a TIFA page on Facebook.  Lots of people are posting there and it has far surpassed the usefulness of TIFA Talk. (Note:  for extra confidentiality, you can create a new email address and name to be used there.) We are also considering setting up a new TIFA Talk on our new website, but making it for members only.  It would be a more private community that would nicely complement our FB Page.  If you want to check out the FB page, I will try to give you a link of URL here.  It seems to me that Google groups used to block URLs and email addresses, so if it doesn't work, please email me and let me know that you would like the link. https://www.facebook.com/groups/48778573433/ Hmmm - looks like it did work. Thanks for letting us know that this yahoo group will be closing later this year. I don't use Facebook (never have, and quite a few people I know have stopped using it recently), and have not joined TIFA up to now as I live overseas. A section of the TIFA site would be useful for this kind of communication.
