Thank you for your patience. I'm afraid I'm still completing the stack of work unearthed during our discussions in May. Running as a representation transformation module within a larger system like TiddlySpace is an important goal for TW5 and so I want to get it right; it also turns out that the concerns cascade so that it is intimately connected to everything else, and so I've been striving to keep simplifying the system, and keep reducing the number of moving parts.
So, since our earlier discussions I've completed the first major refactoring, which was to introduce the micro kernel and module loading system. I'm actually still working on aspects of the plugin mechanism right now, trying to reduce the number of mechanisms further by merging it with the shadow tiddler mechanism. During the period I've also been steadily working on improving the new wikifier, documentation and getting the basic browser-based saving working.
In terms of the TiddlySpace work, I'll very soon be able to put together a TiddlyWeb/Space plugin that encapsulates all the core changes required. My plan is to also put together a little test rig demonstrating how the new TW5 engine can be used as a library by another app. I'd hope to be at that point before the end of this month.
Best wishes
Jeremy
