Wilmington NC on the Fly?

I'm headed down to Wilmington in two weeks and am hoping to get a morning in on the water.  I was thinking of checking out Masonboro Inlet or maybe taking the yak for some ICW fun.  Any tips or locations I should check out?  Thanks.
