TPFR,I know that it isn't tidal, but I would be grateful for any info on fishing Riverbend Park (Fairfax County). Not looking for anything too fancy. A buddy of mine are going to go there after work next week.Feeling the tug from some panfish or smallies would be super.I am going to overdo it and fish poppers with my spey rod - I hear that blue is the color of choice. Thanks much,Gerryp.s. Photo is of a BC Winter Steelie from Feb '12.

Follow that path till it brings you out on a larger trail I believe it's called bootlegger trail. Follow that till you come to the river, the trail will turn left. Stay straight on this trail, you will cross a bridge and then know your at the pipeline when you come to the first big clearing. It is probably about 20 min or so walk.
