That brings up a good question--in times of very high water, what fishing spots in the area are still good to fish?  Maybe some of the little ponds off of the billy goat trail?  Higher up 4 mile run?

Spent some time today driving around and checking out conditions on streams & lakes.

Lakes Audubon and Anne in Reston were totally brown. Snakeden and the Glade in Reston both were blown out. However the section of the Glade that was 'improved' seemed to be the least flooded. The tailwater from lake Fairfax totally blown out, as was Difficult Run in Vienna.

Its quite high. Normally you can see substrate and rocks sticking out when you drive over this spot. I've seen it up to the fence and over the sidewalk back in the day so it can be a whole lot worse. It shouldn't take too long to clear up.
