Went out early Sunday afternoon around 1:15pm and found 3 redfish, sitting cool in Washington Channel without a care in the world.

I guess the article was right.  Thought I would share.

Yeah, those redfish really stink up the joint too -- I noticed that it was pretty rank when I rode my bicycle by the waterfront there over the weekend.

Clearly this is no coincidence -- it must be the them.  It was probably those same 3 from the picture honestly.  A few more and the health department may step in.

All joking aside, I live a block from the SW Waterfront.  It always smells like that when you’re within 500 feet of the place.  That’s what happens when you sell seafood and fish parts and scraps wind up in the water along with garbage that gets knocked in there.  It’s really windy there at times, much more than anywhere else in the District that I’ve been.

I wish they would be forced to clean up all the trash and detritus that’s around the seafood places and restaurants.  It’s pretty disgusting.
