PFD's

I talked with two guys at Pohick yesterday who knew the man who flipped his kayak and drowned there last week.  It reminded me of a story from when I took by Coast Guard boater safety course.  Men who fall overboard and drown have three things in common.  1. They are not wearing a PFD.  2.  They have alcohol in their bloodstream.  3.  Their zipper is down.  Be safe out there folks.

Its always terrible to hear about these accidents.  Specially when they involve people drinking.
