If I go tying Bob Popvics flies, can I use this softex ( http://www.orvis.com/store/product.aspx?pf_id=888P ) as silicone or flex? If no, I would have to buy flex, RV light and etc...too expensive. Unless you have better suggests? Thanks.

My main problem with Softex is keeping the lid and the jar threads clear of it - if you're not fastidious about it, you'll end up with plenty of the stuff but unable to get the damn jar open.

Thanks all for feedback on this Softex , Clear Cure Goo Flex, Zpoxy, etc. I would try softex first. try next products if not happy with softex.
