In addition to the shows Rob mentioned, A smaller edition of the Fly Fishing Show takes place in Lancaster, PA the first weekend in March, http://bit.ly/TiIeCq. The Lancaster County Convention Center is quite new and very nice, located right off the central square and across the way if you want to graze for some great fresh foods is the Central Market.

This is a bit early since Christmas is still a month away, but I'm trying to make a plan for my dad, brother, and I to get some fishing in while they are both in town from college and work travel.
From this post it looks like 4MR or somewhere else near a warm water discharge may be our best option. For curiosity sake though, I've been trying to find some winter reports on Holmes run and Accotink (I haven't fished them yet and thought it may be fun to take them there and figure it out together). I know they were recently stocked, though I'm not familiar enough with the area to know what it will look like a month from now. Are these spots successful in the winter? Anyone have any experience/advice? --

Thanks, Greg. Maybe I'll check those out myself, but 4MR seems like a better bet for us all to do well. If we park by the Toyota dealership and walk down the path so we enter the water right by the discharge, do you recommend moving upstream or out towards the Potomac from there? Does it get too deep moving towards the main river to wade effectively?
