Harkers Island?

Has anyone on here gone down to Harkers Island for the False Albacore run? 

If so, where did you stay?  What is the price range for going down there?  Is it possible to kayak out and catch the False Albacore?

I am looking for information on this.  I think that it would be pretty cool to run down there and fish this. 

Any thoughts are suggestions are appreciated.

While I have not yet gone down there to chase Albies, I know a few guides that do.

Capt. Sarah Gardner
Capt. Brian Horsley

Not sure if that can be done off a yak...

I have fished extensively with Sarah Gardner and Brian Horsley since the late 1990s and  they are both world class guides. I have never fished Harker’s with them for the albies, but I have fished the Oregon Inlet/Albemarle Sound and Atlantic  with them off at Nags Head/Hatteras.

Resurrecting this post to see if anyone has experience with Harkers guides other than Capts. Harding, Gardner, or Horsley.  They are already booked for nearly every weekend and I'm running dangerously low on PTO!  It's late but I'm still hoping to get my first Albie this year.  Thanks.
