Hey all-

I'll be in Charleston SC for the Cooper River Bridge Run on 4/7 and am thinking about doing a redfish charter but alone they are a bit pricy. Anyone running the race that might be interested in splitting the cost of a charter on the Sunday after the race? Or does anyone know of some good places to wade or fish from shore?

Hey Jeff,

I will be down in Charleston that weekend and was contemplating a redfish charter as well.  Count me in!

My folks live down there, if y'all need another, my father might really love to go. He lives on Kiawah Island and I think he knows the local charter captains. At minimum, do y'all guidance in terms of guide selection or travel accomodations ?

I can second Chris Chavis. I have had many epic days with him fly fishing for reds, particularly if they are still schooled up in their spring time pattern.

Hey Jeff,

I just moved down to Charleston from DC about a month ago. I havent had much time to try some fishing spots and I havent fully adjusted to a higher weight rod. I do know a couple of folks that go out fishing frequently and would probably be okay with company and gas depending on how serious you want your outting to be. I have seen Finstalker out on the water and he seems professional and legit. It might be fun to join as well if its a good weekend for me, keep me posted. Always happy to provide tourist and restaurant suggestions too!

Sarah
