Hey everybody!

Does anybody have a map and/or suggestions for wading around Riverbend? I wanted to give the smallies a shot. Just wondering...

Ive never managed to find it.  But rumor has it if you park at the shop there and walk upstream a good ways  you will see a pipe either in water or onland. Im unsure. Fishing above that is suppose to be good.

Urban Angler sells great waterproof wading maps of the Upper Potomac.
There is also a very detailed book with maps on wading the upper Potomac written by Steve Moore available on Amazon (Orvis and Urban Angler might carry).

I would recommend just going to the park and scouting it out. Most of it is wadeable. The farther west you get the better IMO but I have seen fish caught below the park as well.

The map is also for sale at the Riverbend shop. Walk down the steps from the shop, turn left at the boat rental. Walk 5 min and start fishing when you can hear the water. You can walk all the way to Seneca Road at the Northern Virginia Regional Park along the trail. If you want to save time, park at the Riverbend Nature Center.

The fishing off Seneca  Road can be top notch at times too.
