Wading Roaches Run (Legal?)

My understanding is that wading at Roaches Run is acceptable. Am I misinformed? I thought I read a post from a while back saying that a police officer told someone that it wasn't permissible. Does anyone know definitively?

Rob palace had a confrontation with the Feds at roaches run. It should be in the archives.
