search in french finished by "or"

Hi,

If one searches something terminated by or, it returns Fatal error

For example searching mine d'or doesn't work (it does with quotes "mine d'or")

Is there a way to tell Sphinx that "or" means something (in french gold) and it is not the boolean operator ?

Hi Patrick

Short of wrapping every search in quotes (or at least, every one with an 'or' in it), I don't think you can get Sphinx to behave differently. You could try asking this question on the Sphinx forum (it's not Thinking Sphinx's choice).
