Doctor Who card game coming from Cubicle 7 (the makers of the current Doctor Who RPG)!  Hit the link for more info.  You can also read the entire rules online right now!
http://www.cubicle7.co.uk/our-games/doctor-who-the-card-game/

Here are the rules:

I playtested the RPG for Cubicle 7.  I like their products and their people are great!  Looking forward to this!

Read the rules - an interesting mechanic, passing the hand around.  Reminds me tangentially of Godzilla STOMP! where the mechanic is the mechanic and the theme is laid on top of it.  The Time Points seem a little clunky, though, since they are only used to draw cards.

When I saw this post, Shag, I thought it was going to be a Doctor Who Collectable Card Game.  You want to talk about a property which lends itself well to a CCG, Doctor Who is it!

If you try and make me play this at D*C, I will talk in a really bad English accent for the entire game.

You know I can do it.  You have been warned.

LOL!  Not sure the game will be out in time for DragonCon. Cubicle 7 is notorious slow in putting out product.

And to Luke, I actually own TONS of Doctor Who CCG cards from the 90s version.  I traded a handful of semi-rare Magic cards in 1996 (or so) for an entire box of Doctor Who CCG cards.  I eventually went on to make my own custom cards, because I'm that much of a nerd.

You can find my custom card about halfway down on this page: http://matthewsland.com/doctorwho/
It's a site I designed back in 1998.  I updated it a little bit sometime around 2006.  It's pretty embarrassing, but it serves as a nice relic of an era when customizing your Desktop was a cool thing.  Also, if the webring redirects you, just got to the site again.  It should load.

Shag, I did not know that there was a Doctor Who CCG,  Probably because before 2005 or so I did not know what Doctor Who was (beyond "British TV show").  I think the time is right for a comeback!

The thing I don't like about this new card game is that you can't play with only 2 people apparently.

Also, regarding custom desktops: Awww yeah.  I remember that.  I had a super sweet Megadeth desktop theme for years when I was in college, completed with a Gibson Flying V mouse cursor.
