Genius Tablet 8x6 present but not working

I have an old and cheap Genius 8x6 Tablet, it works fine as a mouse,,,Nodekit detects it ok, the component is ´Present´ but nothing happens when I draw on the screen or in the window.

Could someone please help me?

First of all: Check the standards: Is the Color fader set to black? Is the opacity fader set to transparent? Does the tagtool work with another tablet (of course you can't check if you have none)? If nothing of that helps: Can you see the values in the node change?

thanks for the quick response!

I´ve changed every fader in the arduino, nothing happened.
Tablet node is ´Present´ but the values in it didn´t change at all, they´re stuck in a value (the gamepad and controller change when pressed )

I also can´t see the star (tablet cursor) in the screen so my guess is that the tablet recognition isn´t complete.

There is no ´play´ or ´start´button to the tagtool software right? you fire it up and it automatically starts? I was hoping that was kind of my problem

Perhaps the button is wired wrong?
Press the release button while drawing. The star cursor should show up
and the line you're drawing as well...
I hear to fix this you can add a "not" after the "Release" true/false
- node - or change
the wiring.
