RFH: request for help

On issue 3250 I have a function that will allow precision to be preserved during conversion into and out of Poly but it is giving an error that I am familiar with, but not in the current context: "foo() takes exactly 1 argument (2 given)" I can't see what I am doing wrong. I describe the problem at issue 3250. Can anyone give me a hand? Probably simple, but I just can't see it right now:  http://code.google.com/p/sympy/issues/detail?can=2&q=3250
