Hi,

I have installed Sventon 2.5.1 on a CentOS6.2 box running Tomcat.

Everything works nicely except mailNotification.  I followed the instructions located at url: http://code.google.com/p/sventon/wiki/MailNotifier and removed the various comments and set the values to my particulars, but it doesn't seem to do anything.

I don't see any notifications either of success or failure in the logs.  The one difference I noticed is the wiki page mentions: "remove the remark from bean mailNotifier in the file WEB-INF/sventon-servlet.xml", but the bean is in the file application.xml not sventon-servlet.xml.

Do I need to move the location of the bean, application.xml is referenced in web.xml as:
  <context-param>
    <param-name>contextConfigLocation</param-name>
    <param-value>/WEB-INF/applicationContext.xml</param-value>
  </context-param>

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated--thanks,

Roan

The wiki was wrong about the file name - it's now updated.
It sounds like you have done all necessary config changes.
Please enable debug logging in the file log4j.properties to see what's
going on in the MailNotifier.
