iOS6 demands both a surname and forename in Contacts?

Has anyone else noticed this?

For instance, if I have a Contact listed as 'Susan', I notice that she has had her record updated to 'Susan Susan'? She was always just Susan in iOS5!

Have I done something wrong in setup since the update?
Anyone else notice this little oddity....

Yes, Adam, I get this double names all the time. It infuriates me. I have found that if I correct it (by deleting the Susan under the surname) and then immediately quit Address Book, it stays corrected for some time.

And was it all ok before in iOS5?

Mine was!

It's really annoying! I suppose another bug?

Dare I say I recall when Apple was a smaller entitiy, and there were few bugs! I'm not sure their quality control has grown as quickly as their share price!
