More miscellaneous editor suggestions

• getElementsByTagName isn't suggested in the JS hinter. Could that be added?
• The color picker that pops up when an HTML-style color hex value is in focused doesn't work on shorthand (three-character) colors values.
• The color picker incorrectly thinks numerical HTML entities are color values such as ■ (though this isn't a terribly important bug).
• An option to place the Live View box below the editor (unless it's already there and I missed it).

By the way, was this bug fixed? I noticed it's a lot less common now—it did happen once earlier today, but it's a lot less frequent than before.

will work in next update

will pass on this one for now

it's not already there. most screens are in widescreen format so when would this be beneficial?

if it's fixed it wouldn't be attributed to a code change.

Another thing I noticed was that many of the keyboard controls do different things when the Ace editor is open. Are these commands documented anywhere (except at https://github.com/ajaxorg/ace/wiki/Default-Keyboard-Shortcuts)?

Not all of these are listed in ShiftEdit as some of them are quite recent.

My monitor is widescreen, but the current Live View box doesn't allow for much horizontal space and liquid layouts are usually based on viewport width so I often find myself testing pages in windows of varying widths. It's not that big of a problem though—I can always just open the page in a new tab or window, but having the Live View pane there in the editor has been a great convenience and I think for me it'd be a great improvement to be able to put it somewhere where it takes up a larger width.

I have some more feature suggestions:

• The right-click context menus show up as soon as the mouse button is held down, similar to how context menus in the OS work, but the toolbar menus (File/Edit/etc.) and the gear menu next to the site switcher appear only when they're fully clicked, so I can't hold down the mouse and drag to the item I want like I can with the context menus or in the real window toolbar menus.
• On the other hand, tabs close as soon as I mouse down on the x icon, which sometimes happens accidentally. Could that be changed to a full click (the way tabs in browsers work, for instance)?
• Alt+n where n is a number key in Notepad++ folds all foldable sections at depth n, and I've personally found that really useful. Could that be added to ShiftEdit?
• Code folding HTML tags in PHP files.
• When regular expressions are enabled in find/replace, it can search for regular expressions but can't replace them (as in $1, $2, etc. groups).

Just found a bug:

• After canceling an (SFTP) action such as opening a large file, the editor refuses to open any more files so that the page needs to be refreshed.

This is already fixed in dev channel. I'm holding that release back as some users experienced some problems.
