ShARE full team meeting tomorrow

Hi all,

Congratulations to all the pgp1s for their summers. 

Now we need to start working on the events we were planning to organize earlier. 

To decide the future course of action and also clear your doubts regarding the output we meet tomorrow at 10 pm. 

Venue will be notified later. Please be there. In case you are not coming, let me know in advance.

Hey Ravi,

Just wanted to update that I wanted to forgo my membership of Share
this year. Unfortunately I had completely underestimated the load of
FP 2nd year, which is turning out quite heavy, unlike my PGP2 :)...
accentuated more so by my decision of really learning as much as I
can..

Given the scenario I haven't been able to do justice to my membership,
and unlikely I would be able to in this year. I would seek (that is if
it would be acceptable) the membership again next year.

This year the quality of output has been very good!! 

Minutes of the meeting:

We discussed the following issues:

~ Activity level on the ShARE portal: Please remember that you score will be used in the evaluation

criteria along with your output score for global position openings or projects so keep posting.

~ Debating competition: As discussed, Himanshu and Shailesh will be managing the debating competition 

to be held next week. The event will have two rounds. First round will involve the submission of a small write-up (1 page) on 

a eco topic. 8 ppl will be shortlisted for the final round which will be a debate with a eco prof as judge. Please 

prepare a poster and other details and post it on BB. This will help in increasing the visibility across the campus.

Please rethink the first round details as I believe the mode in which ppl are at this point of time, we may not even 

get eight entries.

~ShARE hoodies: Saurabh will look after desigining, procurement, etc. of a ShARE sweatshirt. Please note that we will

have to pay from our pockets for the sweatshirt. 

~World seminar for next yr: We also discussed a possibility of hosting the world seminar at IIM Calcutta. Needless to say,

great learning experience and a great CV point as well. The members have shown interest so we need to write a proposal for

that which I will be sharing later.

Feel free to add if I have missed something.
