I've started a small project to create a set of reusable components for processing sanskrit text.
The code is in Java. It is on github at
https://github.com/kpachar/sanskritlibsAs of now, it can do two very simple operations:
1. Convert a string into a representation that is easier for further processing:
श्रीकृष्णः ===> श् र् ई क् र् ऋ ष् ण् अ ः
2. A simple sandhi generator - only works with सवर्णस्वरसन्धि for now:
देव + अधिदेव ===> देवाधिदेव
My original intention was to create a library that could later be plugged into Kojo,
but this is a general library, and doesn't have any dependency on Kojo.
It has a set of JUnit tests for unit testing, and integration with Travis CI for building and
running a regression test for each push.
I wish to add support for additional languages after it matures,
especially in a javascript based language.
I will update here as the library grows.
