I am getting a hang / possible error during doc building on Cygwin.
Not sure if it started here, or in beta0, though I'm pretty sure beta0
worked for me.

On Ubuntu 18.04 running on Xeon E5-2623 + 16 GB RAM:

- python2:

  - incremental build from 8.7.beta0 OK

  - all tests from ptestlong passed

 

- python3:

  - incremental build from 8.7.beta0 OK

  - the documentation is successfully built as well! (as emphasized by John)

It seems the cryptominisat issue reported in beta0 disappeared (maybe it was transient, I forgot to check last time).

I can not reproduce the issue with logging_backend.py.

The issue in cmdline.py related to pandoc was an easy fix and needs review.

Built w/o problems on two macOS platforms:

10.11.6 (mid-2015 MBP, Quad-core i7): all tests (‘ptestlong’) passed!

10.13.6 (2017 iMac Pro, Xeon W): all tests (‘ptestlong’) passed!

I have forgotten how to access the source for an earlier release (beta, rc, or final) via ‘git’. Can someone point me in the right direction?

When I use "git tag --list", it displays a long list of version numbers, like "8.6.beta0". Then I can do "git checkout 8.6.beta0".
