Hi all,

What is the policy? Is it acceptable to use the new hash notation in the guides? Since Rails 3.1.0 requires Ruby 1.8.7 or above, perhaps this would be confusing for the reader. What do you think?

Regards,

Manuel

We'll continue to use the old style hash in the guides until we drop support for 1.8.7.

Regards
Vijay
