Which books have you tried?

I have had the same problem. When trying the Book of Mormon download it says Could not download 'BOM.zip'. java.io.FileNotFoundException.   the default library location is  /storage/sdcard0/reveal/ebooks/

Also I get the same error on all books I have tried.

It might be related to the default library location.  Is that library location one manually changed by you or the place that Reveal is using by default?

The error is:

"Could not download 'BoM.zip'.java.io.FileNotFoundException.

I was downloading the English BoM.

/storage/sdcard0/reveal/ebooks/

This is automatically set by the device. I've tried renaming it, but the device says the link must begin with /storage/sdcard0/

OK.  It looks like we assumed too much about sdcards.  We'll have to get into the code and fix it.

Would anyone be able to capture a logcat stacktrace and post it?

Is there an easy way to capture the logcat ? I've been looking at apps, but I didn't see error messages related to reveal.

Guess what guys?  I now own a tablet that exhibits the same behaviour. My ASUS TF300 just got it's Jelly Bean update (4.1.1) and it now has the same problem with downloading books.  It's a mixed blessing.  But you can be assured that this issue will now get more attention.

I've already looked at the problem some and have some ideas but need to research further so as not to break Reveal for other versions of Android.

Please bear with us.

I've attached a new beta version that should fix the JellyBean eBook download error.  Please give it a try and let us know if there are any issues.

I was unable to download this in the Chrome Mobile browser, but was on my PC Chrome. Each time I did it on my Nexus it was a partial download. Also tried Dolphin browser with the same result. Not sure if it's because my device is rooted.
