Hi,

In wiki it is mentioned that installing UFRaw will add support for importing camera raw files. But In config and full code I did not find any reference to UFRaw.
Could you please help me to understand how to set ResourceSpace to create thumbnails for raw images.

Thanks
Chaitanya

Hi Chaitanya,

you don't find it in the config because ufraw or dcraw are used transparently through ImageMagick/GraphicsMagick. Which one of the two you need, you will find out by looking for either in ImageMagick's delegates.xml (see http://www.imagemagick.org/script/resources.php). I don't have a link handy but you will find plenty of documentation on how to find and read the delegates.xml. As far as I know newer versions of ImageMagick use ufraw while older versions (and GraphicsMagick) use dcraw.

Good luck,
Stefan

Thanks,

You are correct. dcraw was indeed set with imagemagick but somehow CR2 (Canon raw) files are not getting converted in previews.
I have tried even with

$photoshop_thumb_extract=true;
$cr2_thumb_extract=true;

But that also did not resulted in thumbnail creation.

Thanks

Have you looked in your webserver's error log for messages from ImageMagick convert?

Sorry but I could not focus more on this. I was trying to resolve corel files issue.
I will check soon and post the observations.

Thanks a lot Stefan for your willingness to help.
