I'm located in Beijing and recently I found I cannot update Android source code.
After several weeks try, I found that I can not access "andorid.googlesource.com", when I ping this server with VPN, it works, but without VPN this host is unreachable.
So I guess that my ISP or Chinese government blocked this server by some politics reason.
But I can access github.com normally.

I also tried to download though VPN, but speed it critical slow.
So I need some help, can I download Android source code under this condition?

Thanks.

Hi, Liu.

I am in Fuzhou, It seems that the server is not blocked in mainland, but unstable to access. I can open the page  "https://andorid.googlesource.com" directly without VPN. When doing repo sync, there would have some complains with "can not access to ...", but the job would completed in the end...

Thank you very much.
I tried several times, each time ping to this server failed, maybe there is different between different ISP.
Any suggested mirror to download Android source code?

Hi, Liu.

There has a android source code mirror in github: https://github.com/android, I found this with google search.....Not quite sure about whether it would work, maybe you could have a try...

...or if github isn't complete (as it looks like ... I can't understand why...), use it as the "main" repository (as it's faster) and pick only the missing projects from googlesource...

This one works ... looks like:

repo init -u git://git.omapzoom.org/platform/omapmanifest.git -b jb-release
