Redis BitSet operation support?

I'm interested in BitSet operation such as And, Or, Xor, BitCount... So I just wonder if redis support such that operation in future?

As far as I know there is no plan to directly support those
operations. However, those operations will be available in some way
via the Redis Lua Scripting support that is currently available in the
scripting branch (I believe it will become part of Redis after 2.4 is
released).
