I am not sure if this is on topic but I will give it a whirl. A while back there were some photos on the Riv site showing a bare Ritchey built tandem stripped and on it way to getting painted. I can't find those pictures anywhere in the archive. Did that actually happen or did I dream it?

Anyway, a couple of days ago an add popped up on a local craigslist listing for tandem for sale. It had one bad picture and it mentioned it was a Ritchey. I went & bought it and it is an absoltely stunning example of Ritchey's fillet(?sp) skills. I am guessing it to be about 1980. Would anyone here know much about it? Here are some pictures.

Yea, no... Ritchey frames aren't Riv's, so they are OT.

But, by the same token, there's an artistry there which is hard to
ignore. Seeing Tom's frames is kinda like going to church - here's a
similar style to yours:

Here's a very different early tandem:

Another from Santa Rosa:

Couple o' Tom refs - not specific to your question, but filling in
some details:

Dave Bohm (Bohemian Bicycles from the first link) does some pretty awesome frames also. Used to ride with him and some friends back in Tucson. Great guy and he knows his stuff.
