Hello RBW

What is the cheapest way to send two framesets with racks from Sacramento CA to Bilenly Cycle Works in PA.

The frames are going to have couplers installed.

The box is 54.3 x 31.5 x 11.8

Regards

Have you gone to both UPS FedEX websites?  You can plug in all the info and a list of prices.  I've also heard of using Greyhound bus, but don't know anything about it.  Steve

Get the boxes down to avoid the next size hit, sign up for your own
account with FedEx and do it from there. Helps reduce the cost.
Drop it at the FedEx terminal. 130" girth is the max.
A package weighing less than 50 lbs. and measuring more than 108
inches but less than 130 inches in combined length and girth will be
classified by FedEx Ground as an Oversize 2 (OS2) package. The
transportation charges for an Oversize 2 (OS2) package will be the
same as a 50-lb. package being transported under the same
circumstances. . An oversize charge of $45 per package will apply to
any package measuring greater than 130” in length and girth.

I have two experiences with shipping framesets and both times USPS was the lowest cost option, about $30 Texas to VT, if memory serves me right..

Hello Michael

Did you send your frameset to/from a USPS office in a box from your LBS?

Allright so I get in to the 108 - 130 inch with my measurments 54.3 X 31.5 X 11.8 inches (total girth is around 97 inches)?

With up to 50 lbs it would be around 95 USD with http://www.bikeflights.com/bicycle_shipping.aspx

Are you familier with bikeflights?
