Repeat, repeat: a 2 or 3 hour ride is long for me, but in such cases I
like, in hot weather, weak tea with lemon and a little sugar; in cold
weather, Indian Chai but weakish with not too much milk.
(Indian chai, the real stuff: boil cheap loose tea with lots of sugar
and milk until it is at once bitter and sweet. Dilute for bicycling
use.)
Diluted Gatorade also works for me.
