Beautiful photos -- all that green stuff!
Actually, the river view photo doesn't look too different from the
view from the Rio Grande's west bank 1/4 mile from my house; the
problem with camping (for me) is that, (1) it is explicitly illegal to
camp in the bosque (the trail signs read: "Fire Danger: HIGH TODAY!!")
and (2) the ground cover: ours is sand with sparsely scattered
sagebrush, thistles and other, hardy, desert weeds, even under the
cottonwoods. I suppose a hammock would work, but again, the coppers
.... And, we have coyotes. (That is a three-syllable word, please,
accent on the second.)
I enjoy the S24 and other camping photos -- keep 'em coming.
