602cc of massive torque to move its Hummer-like 755 kg. Makes a
chuffing noise like a Model T. Can carry 4 bikes upright if alternated
fr/r.

Next on my "project" list: an early model DS.

Blazing high above your head;
But in you is the Presence that will be
When all the stars are dead.

Wait 'til I get some big, smiley face decals for it. Oh, and a
Rivendell bumper sticker.

That's awesome, Patrick.  I'd love to have one.  What year is it?  That's quite a modern-looking window behind the cab.  You can keep the smiley faces; Riv sticker's OK.

It's a 1963; the Acadiane was designed to allow a rear bench seat in
the cargo box so that it could be used for family transport on
weekends. Mine does not have the rear seat, but all had the windows.
