Hey guys!  I am in need of a good but affordable trail bike.  I am looking for a decent Bridgestone MB.  Preferable not a 0 or 1 as I am on a budget but a 2 or 3 would be fantastic.  I am not too picky but 90's era would be most preferable but again doesn't matter.  Most of the ebay stuff is overpriced BIN's these days and I would prefer to find something here is possible.  Fee free to shoot me an email at johnnyalien at verizon.net

Thanks!

Shoot.  I forgot to mention that i would need a medium size around 46-49 region.

An XO would be nice too but budget wise those are probably out of my reach right now.

Plug this into Google: site:craigslist.org/bik bridgestone
blog post on the subject:
http://www.biketinker.com/2010/bike-resources/search-all-craigslist-for-the-bikes-you-want/

I spent a couple months off and on feeding Really Good Deals to a
friend who bought a motorcycle instead... :^)

Good luck,
Philip

So I am currently still looking as that seller decided to try and raise his asking price after posting it.

And honestly if the price was right I might be willing to sell some musical gear to hit up a used Hunqapillar or Atlantis or such.  I am primarily going to be using this on mildy rough to easy trails.

Oh swell, he suddenly decided every garden variety MB is a "classic", eh? That's an epidemic here in the Bay Area. If it doesn't have a -1 or a -0(Zip) in the name, it's not a highly sought after collectible. It's just a nice old bike..get over it.

Got this one coming to me. And yes I am aware that saddle has to go. :)

Nice bike, good find!

I'd better make sure my daughter doesn't know you have that purple bottle cage, or she'd want it instead of letting Eric have it!

:)

I don't need it. I don't have any purple bikes.

Go where?!? That's a flite. right? Nice saddle! I currently ride one
that's split black/yellow, but it's on a yellow bike; makes it look
like a killer-bee!

Hey, good for you, mate! I emailed that guy, but he never got back to me. The Final Year MB-1s are very nice bikes, especially with Softride stem still there. Most of these lost their stems and bi-plane forks for a RockShox years ago.

Btw, I like the seat and cage. Just sayin. ;-)

Nice work!  I never liked that stem spec on the '94 MB1 either.  It's almost totally stock.

I will list the seat up here to see if anyone wants to buy it when I get the bike.  It is indeed a Selle Italia Flite saddle.
