The TRP RRL road brake levers on RBW site here:

Does anyone have experience with whether they work okay for gents (like me) with smaller hands? Not super-small, but smaller than average. Thanks.

My hands are medium, and the TRP levers work well for me. If you've ever used the Tiagra levers, the TRP might be a bit easier for you. Having the levers slant to the outside helps, especially in the drops. There's also more leeway for setting them up with slack because the slanty levers won't bottom out on the drops. The shape of the hood is not as nice as the Tiagra, which curves in a way that makes a really nice transition with the bars. Also, the TRP's are quicker to set up. There's a slotted cable stop (unlike the Tiagra which has a closed hole so you have to feed the cable all the way through), and the quick release is nice. I'm happy with mine overall, by I wouldn't call them a revelation.

The bodies look to be plastic; is that correct? I have Tektro levers
on two bikes and I love the feel but the bodies are plastic and I am
just waiting for a fall to crack the bodies. The Dura Ace levers (pre
STI) on my other bikes are not quite as comfortable but they are, at
least, all metal and have survived falls with no damage.

If the TRPs are all metal, then I may just have to consider them as DA
replacements (and Tektro repl, too, for that matter).

Yes, they are plastic. I have not crashed on them, yet. I think they'll survive, but stay tuned.

just got mine in the mail today and built up a new cockpit (not yet on a bike, just put the levers, shifters, stem and handlebars together).

the hoods definitely don't have as nice of a "flow" out of the bar to them that the tiagras have.  they look a little weird (you can see this in the pics on the riv site).

just trying them out, not on the bike, but in my hands, i bet someone with small hands wouldn't like them much.  ymmv, but that is my initial thought in just playing around with them.

they are pretty awesome, i can't wait to get my sam and throw them on there.

Good feedback on the hand-size issue, Zack -- thanks!  -- Forrest
