Riding in San Diego

It looks like I'll be in San Diego for a week, and I am hoping to get in a few 2-3 hour rides.  Can someone suggest some routes? Feel free to contact me offlist.

You'll have a bike with you?  Where will you be staying?  WIll you have a car, will you want to use it, or do you want to ride out the door?  What style of ride(s)?
