Anyone use these on their Rivs?
Loking for a small light that has a mount that could screw into the seat stay braze ons. Looks like a convenient mounting spot.

Bruce Gordon has a nice one, and there’s a similar one from SOMA Fab that looks like a knock-off of the BG light, but a couple of bucks pricier.

Here’s the Bruce Gordon one: http://brucegordoncycles.bigcartel.com/product/bullet-tail-lights

And the SOMA version: http://store.somafab.com/sosiburesafl.html

I have the SOMAs on a couple bikes. They produce light and look cool. I like 'em.

Same light (I believe) is also available from Jitensha: http://jitensha.com/eng/kimura_lights.html

Prettier than the Bruce Gordon light, but pricier.

The normal mounts for Planet Bike rear lights comes apart to attach different bands for seatstay or seatpost mounting, and as a result you can just bolt the bracket portion to a convenient braze on.  I mounted one to the upper seatstay mounts on a bike with no rear rack.

It's very easy to use a stainless "P" clamp (with rubber insert) to hold a small powerful LED flashlight at a threaded braze-on. I like the lights from Four Sevens, and you can get a red lens, or a red light, for rear-facing applications.

If anyone's interested, I've got one of those Kimura stay-mounted taillights that I'm likely not going to use.
It includes the little mounting bracket.
See light and bracket here:
Never been mounted, how about $90 shipped?
