I spent a bit of time at Mountain Sports Ltd today, catchin' up with Bobby and Steve (http://www.mountainsportsltd.com/).   Whenever I'm there, I try to take note of Riv inventory, in case someone on the list is looking for something particular that Riv might not have in stock.

I happened to notice that they have to larger Atlantis frames in stock:  one's a 64, and one is a 66.  Don't think Riv is making either of those anymore (might have some 64's around, but think the 66's are gone).    SO, if you're wanting a 66 Atlantis, might want to give 'em a ring.   276-466-8988.

Aside from the big Atlantises, they have a couple of Hilbornes, 52 and 56 (not a double-top-tube one), and some Hilsens in a variety of sizes, a couple 650B, several 700c, up to 67. All of their Rambouillet frames are now gone.   I'm not wanting to mis-direct anyone from buying from Riv if they have what they need, but, if they're out on what you want, maybe MSL might have it (especially those big Atlantises).

I am under the impression that the Atlantis has been built in odd # sizes; didn't think there was a 64 or 66?

Altantis sizes change from odd to even and back.

Current sizes (from the Riv site):
26"-wheeled frames :47, 51, 53, 54.5, 56 ;
700c-wheeled frames:
58, 61

(Matches their geometry charts, too: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AjehUKAztnO8dEFRVEYxUWpxeXNPMHZMeDZINmNUMWc#gid=0 )

They still show 64 in their drop-down menu, but not in the narrative nor their chart.

Back in the August 20, 2009 News post, Grant explained that the Atlantis was shifting production away from Japan, based on Yen, exchange rates, order minimums, lead times;  in that post, he mentioned that they'd keep through 61, and if you wanted bigger, get a Bombadil.

Going back to 2004 when I began my Atlantis infatuation, sizes were 47, 51, 53, 54.5, 56, 58, 61, 64, 66, 68.

Glad they didn't have a 68 or I would be explaining to my wife why I bought yet another bicycle.

I concur w/ Seth, you need another AHH; set one up as a 'racer' to go w/ your wife's Roadeo, and the other as your tourer.... ;)

David, congrats!
