Anyone tried this offering from RBW?

I'm moving down to Bluff UT for the remainder of the year, and I'm thinking of swapping the Hetres and fenders on the Bleriot for a fenderless setup with the fattest and most stout tire I can fit.  I'll be bombing around the paved and unpaved roads and trails in SE Utah and on the Navajo Reservation, and this looks like a good option.  Experiences with them?  Other options I'm missing?

Thanks,
-Jay B.

For the price these tires are great. Once you get them going on pavement the bumps almost dissapear. I do a loop that consist of the road "north county trail" in westchester ny to the old croton aquaduct which is dirt. I don't change the tire pressure. I'm a little cautious when cornering on dirt at full volume. Make sure they are seated properly before riding. Inflate them slow and check. What size is your Bleriot? I would also use 26x1.9/2.125 tubes. The 650b tubes are two small for this tire.

I use them on my Bombadil and am biased toward Schwalbes in general.    For $25.00, they are a steal.

It might be good for the rez; do post some photos.

But MAN, 900 grams for a tiny, 584 bsd and skinny, hard 45 mm wide???
My 60 mm wide, wire bead, 622 bsd Big Apples were no heavier (they
were replaced by "Liteskins which are the same but with kevlar beads
and weigh only 800 gr) and they are probably as thorn resistant as any
tire out there -- they stop 75% of goatheads, even. And these are
*cush*.

Oh well, it's not *every* bike that can handle tires of such noble
height and girth.

Will those fatties fit on the Bleriot?  The Riv chart shows a max of 41mm in tire width.
The Riv site says they will fit on their bikes but the geo. chart is in conflict with that.

I was thinking of those tires for mixed terrain rides on my new custom 650B  from Chauncey Matthews.

Get them. I love Schwalbe tires, even the basic Marathons. They're
great tires for all-rounding on.

This is sorta, maybe kinda Riv related in that it is local and homegrown.  Living in Fort Collins, CO has alot of cool perks,  great local beer, alot of bike trails, and bike friendly community.

Jim may or may not flag this, but it is kinda cool.
