S240 To Half Moon Bay This Saturday 8/18- 8/19

Open to those that are free. Doing a quick s240 to Half Moon State Beach from Daly City Bart via the Planet of the Apes road.

If you have never ridden the Planet of the Apes road, imagine a road from Planet of the Apes, twisted, overgrown, falling apart. 

Now imagine riding your bike on that into Half Moon Bay. Great route!

Ride is about 25 to 30 miles with a good amount of climbing planning on leaving early morning. 

When I told me father about it he was ready to tackle it head on. My father is super excited to try this. Should be a good ride. 

The ride out is into San Mateo to get some tea drinks from Tpumps by far the best tea drink ever in the Bay Area.

Um ... A bit more info? What time are you thinking of for meeting at DC BART? PoftheA road sounds intriguing!

Sorry folks looks like I have to cancel this event. With school starting on monday, I have to go in tomorrow to set up my classroom. Still doing a ride to halfmoon bay for bbq but it's going to be on Sunday
