Looking for recommendations for a S36OH (2 days, and a night in a hotel) in northern CA

So, I've convinced my favorite riding partner (guess who that'd be :-) ) to go for an ride somewhere, stay overnight, and then ride back.  That's a great start (and she's actually getting quite excited), though, we have some constraints:

My camping gear isn't welcome, gotta be a hotel and restaurant at the overnight end...
She's not big on hills... no more than ~500 feet of climbing, < 6% grades (though we can walk it if it's otherwise an awesome route)...
Distance of about 35-40 miles each way...

We'll probably be going next month if the weather cooperates, so it can't be somewhere with extreme weather at this time of year.

So... any suggestions for a ride that fits these constraints somewhere in Northern CA?  Preferably with nice scenery.  We're thinking that the Napa area might be nice, though some of the roads there are rather narrow and high speed.

Alternatively, we could add some hills and distance if somebody can also recommend a place that'll rent a tandem that's about a 64/48 (it'd still be small for me, but I could make it work) that can carry enough stuff for the night.  (meaning at least a regular rear rack to carry a change of clothes for the evening, toiletries, snacks and water, basically)

Thanks!
-Rex

Ebarcadero to Samuel P Taylor to Point Reyes and then to the Marin Headlands Hostel? Just did this trip last month minus the Hostel part and it is absolutely gorgeous.

Embarcadero to SP Taylor to Marin Headlands? Gorgeous, but definitely
more than 500 feet of climbing.

Rex, Northern California is hilly. The good rides are hilly, mostly.
You could check out the Silverado Trail in Napa, though.

Oh, I know... I live in Northern CA... that's why I'm struggling to come up with a route. :-)  It's either hilly (coasts, sierras) or ugly (central valley)...  Sometimes (when looking for a ride that I can share) I envy the east coast people who think that their little speedbumps are mountains.
