Thought the group might be interested in seeing most of my bikes. There are a few that don't fit into the bike room, but here is the bulk of the collection:

Not shown here are my 1973 Motobecane (fixed), my 1970s-ish Raleigh Superbe, a Dahon Curve folder, and a very heavy twin-top-tube town bike from India (made, no doubt, in a factory left behind by the British).

Enjoy!

I like how every bike has a small/medium sized bag ready to go! Cool room!

Yes--except for air in the tires, they're all ready to ride at a moment's notice. Pity I don't have time to ride all of them more often.

Eric-
Is there a Dahon Smooth Hound in there? I just purchased one to finally crack the dilemma of traveling all the time for work and never having a bike with me.

I am still new to it, but love mine. Moustache bars, bar end shifters, brooks saddle, big bike feel, but it fits in a samsonite suitcase.

Bravo!

The room is a beautiful concept, the bikes are beautiful bikes.  Thanks for sharing.

Amazing. You have a good start on a cycling museum there. Reminds me
of my bro' in law's man cave. He's into canoes and kayaks and has
eight of them stored in a similar manner to your bikes. I spent about
an hour Saturday admiring his boat collection and advising him on a
Trek exercise bike somebody gave him. Thanks for sharing the
photos.

That's a great sight (and site). Where's your tricycle?

Might have to kick my daughter out of her room (only part custody
anyway) and move my bikes upstairs -- only two bedrooms in 1253 sq ft,
but each has a bathroom!

I was actually going to start a "moustache bars position" thread on this list, as I am struggling a bit with the bar position on my dahon as well.

It really is a lovely bike. I bought a samsonite hardshell case and traveled with mine already. No airline fees, and a real bike to ride at the destination. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Enjoy!
Sean

You're living right, nice collection. Good on you for keeping them
all ready to ride. I only have a few & struggle with that. Of
course, it wouldn't be a problem if I'd quit messing around with
"improvements".

How about a panoramic video with narration, comments about each bike,
special rides it's done? That would be really neat.

No doubt about that type of struggle. It seems like I spent all weekend cleaning and smoothening the drivetrain of my Atlantis. Bike rides great with the exception of a chainsuck in the granny gear that wasn't there before I did my "maintenance." I finally decided that a single link of the chain (which I had marked) was the culprit, so I decided it was time for a fresh chain on the bike anyway. Rode it again, and it's still chainsucking!

Anyway, didn't mean to get into a long thing about chainsuck, just that for me, working on each bike is time-consuming, although I enjoy it. I have quite a few bikes, and I have a lot to learn from Eric about having them ready to go and also on display instead of just leaning against walls here and there. I really appreciated seeing your collection photos, Eric.
