I am an ultra-marathon racer and will be competing in two races this year 400 mile RAAM Challenge and the Furnace Creek 508 miles, 35,000 ft. of climbing this will be my forth 508. Both races are non-drafting. I am not a climber though can usually hang in there. I am very strong on the flats and roller like Sonora rd. I weigh around 185 lbs. and I ride 22-30 hrs. Per week.
I've been researching Zipp 303's and 404's firecrest clinchers and trying to figure out the advantages/disadvantages and differences between the two and of course which one would be better suited to me.
Anyone with experienced knowledge that could lend their opinions?

i usually race on zipp 303 dimpled (non-firecrest) tubulars and have done a few doubles/200k rides on them.  i find them to be awesome wheels and still manageable (not ideal) in heavy wind conditions.  since you're about 40lbs heavier, i'd probably go with the 404s, or even a 404/808 combo.  one thing to really watch out for is the width of the rim.  it poses all sorts of clearance problems, depending on your bike/brake set-up.  my wife's fuji d6 tt bike for example will not accommodate a 303 rear.  also note that the tubulars are lighter than the clinchers.

I've seen the 404 Firecrest (clinchers) improve a riders average by 2mph over standard wheels.  They even seem to help with climbing.  They should be ideal for the races you are planning.  They come in different spoke counts based on rider weight.  The middle of the three set ups might be right for 185 lbs.  Don't think you need the clydesdale.
