Different field config for modals

Is there currently a way to choose different fields for modals / nested forms vs their full edit screen? As in can I leave off some advanced fields in those limited views?

nested for nested forms, but nothing for modals. Maybe we should add it?

base < edit < update|create|modal|nested

Ahh, yes, I realize now you do have nested as an option. Adding a separate one for modal makes sense to me. I need to hide less common options to keep the form shorter on that one.

I noticed a weird bug with nested. It has to appear before the edit block for it to work. Otherwise, edit will override nested. Need me to make an issue?

It's not a bug.

You need to put children block after parent block. nested inherits from edit.

Adding the modal section would be trivial.
