new style "pop up" window

The new window effect that Facebook has when you click on a photograph is what I am referring to.  I have not tried but I assume I can figure out how to do that but I was wondering if prototype or scriptaculous already has such a creature.

It's a div... all you do is show/hide the div.  You can put controls inside the div to perform various functions like next/previous which uses an ajax call to get the next or previous image.

Yea.  I think it is a little more complicated isn't it?  It looks to me like it uses the z-index to be above the normal content.  As I said, it doesn't look super hard.  Just curious if it had been done before.
