***1 Cor 11:2 Now I commend you because you remember me in everything and maintain the traditions even as I delivered them to you, 3 and I wish you to know that of every man the Head is the Christ, and the head of a wife is her husband, and the Head of Christ is God. 4 Any man who prays or prophesies with his head covered disgraces/dishonors/shames his head[, Christ]; 5 but any wife who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered disgraces/dishonors/shames her head[, her husband]. . . . 7 For indeed a man . . . is the image and glory of God, but the woman is the glory of the man. 8 For man was not made from woman, but woman from man; 9 and indeed man was not created for the sake of the woman but woman for the sake of the man. . . 10 This is why a woman should have a symbol of authority on her head, because of the angels. 11 Nevertheless, in union with the Lord neither is woman independent of man nor is man independent of woman; 12 for just as woman came from man, so man comes through woman, and all things come from God.
T: The "symbol of authority on her head" can take the form of a hat, cap, hair band, scarf or veil. An American woman can wear a hat, cap, scarf, hair band or bandana as a "symbol of authority on her head"
without violating female American cultural norms. From this we see that Jesus has appointed roles and a hierarchy in male and female relationships. Angels are authorized to punish sinners (Acts 12:23). Angels are under the authority of God, know it and act accordingly; so they know wives are under their husband's authority and expect them to act accordingly. The angels are watching us to see what God is doing in our lives and learn about the nature and character of God (1 Cor 4:9; Ephes 3:9,10; Heb 1:13-14; 12:1-2). If the wife or the husband does not submit to and obey the directions of Jesus, just as the angels were used to punish the defiant Egyptians, they can be used to discipline people (1 Cor 11:30-34; 1 Tim 5:21; Hebrews 12; Revelation 8; 9:15; 14:14-19; 16:1-17).
***Ephes 5:23 A husband is the head of his wife, as Christ is the head and the Savior of the church, which is His own body. 24 But as the church submits itself to Christ, so also wives should submit themselves<5293> in everything to their husbands. +++

T: It is significant that Jesus chose only males to be His Apostles, His designated representatives on earth and to the Church; that Jesus ordained that only men should be the elders, bishops, leaders, deacons etc of the Church (1 Timothy 3 Titus 1); that Jesus forbade wives from dominating, bossing, discipling, having and using authority over husbands (1 Tim 2:11,12; 1 Peter 3:1-6). From 1 Corinthians 11 above we see the following:
1*The Head of a husband is Christ.
1*The head of a wife is her husband.
2*It disgraces, shames and dishonors Christ for the man who prays or teaches and has a symbol of some other authority on/over his head other than Christ.
2*A wife disgraces, shames and dishonors her husband if she prays or teaches and does not have some symbol showing that she is under her husband's authority.
3*A man is the image and glory of God
3*The wife is the glory of her husband.
4* The husband is dependent on the wife.
4* The wife was created for the sake of the husband.
5* The husband depends on the wife, his God given helper.
5* The wife depends on the husband, the one she is given to help.
6* Now men come by birth through the woman.
6* Originally the wife was created from the man.
T: The wife's responsibility is [1] like the Bereans (Acts 17:10-12), to test, try, examine and scrutinize (1 Thess 5:21) what the husband is teaching her and asking her to do for her to see if she can obey it without disobeying God's Word and then hold on tight to what she has found to be in agreement with God's Word(1 Thess 5:21); and [2] to humbly and respectfully refrain from doing anything her husband asks her to do that is evil, sinful or wrong (Ephes 5:7-11) or about which she has genuine doubts about it being right and acceptable to God (Romans 14:19-23). In the event the wife chooses to not do what her husband asks her to do, the Word instructs him to do the following: Galatians 6:1; 2 Tim 2:24-26; Matthew 18:15-17; and 1 Corinthians 5:3-5,11.

T: Just as this applies to the appointed and official leaders in the local assembly of believers, as they lead that local group, it also applies to the husband whose appointed authority the wife has accepted when she married him. If she doesn't want to be under the authority of a husband, she shouldn't marry. The husband is under Jesus' command to teach and disciple his wife (Matthew 28:9,10). The wife is instructed NOT to teach or disciple her husband (1 Tim 2:11,12; 1 Peter 3:1-6). ++In marriage terms that appears to mean that the husband should disciple his wife, relate to her as a teacher does to a student, teaching his wife to obey everything Jesus has commanded us to do. It may mean just reading the Bible together and sharing impressions (Exod 24:7; Deut 17:19; 31:11; Nehemiah 8:8,18).
***Ephes 4: I therefore, the prisoner in the Lord, exhort you to lead a life worthy of the calling with which you were called, 2 with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in Love, 3 diligently keeping the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

I hope any husband reading this has learned the message that the husband is under God's command to NOT control, subjugate, make obey, cause to be submissive, rule, and/or have dominion over his wife. It is her free choice to choose to obey and submit herself to her husband, or to not do so. Our obedience to His Word is the proof that we are in Christ.

The husband who continues to disobey the Word of God should be dealt with according to Gala 6:1; 2 Tim 2:24-26; Matt 18:15-18; 1 Cor 5:3-5,11; 2 Thess 3:6-14; Rom 16:17,18.
Living in disobedience to His Word without 1 Cor 11:30-32 chastening (Heb 12) is proof that the one who continues to be disobedient does not know God

[4] Married Women and Single Women - The Difference<<<<<<
First of all ladies, please be mindful of the fact that the instructions to wives given below are not instructions to single women. If the instructions given to wives below are unpleasant and objectionable to you, then you should remain single, unmarried and serve the Lord that way, if you can do so abstaining from sexual immorality. If you don't abstain consistently from sexual immorality, then you are under 1 Cor 7:2 and 9 command to be married.
***1 Cor 7:7 I wish that all people were just like me. But each has his own gift from God, one this and another that. 8 I say to the unmarried and to widows: It is good for them if they remain as I am. 9 But if they do not have self-control, they should marry, for it is better to marry than to burn [with desire].. . . . 17 Only, as the Lord has assigned to each one, as God has called each, in this manner let him walk. And so I direct in all the churches. . . . 24 Brethren, each one is to remain with God in that condition in which he was called. . . . 26I think then, because of the impending distress [that is even now setting in], it is well (expedient, profitable, and wholesome) for a person to remain as he or she is. 27Are you bound to a wife? Do not seek to be free. Are you free from a wife? Do not seek a wife. . . . 32 I want you to be free from anxieties. . . . 34 . . . [5] THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR WIVES<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
The wife, as a child of God, a citizen of the Kingdom of God and a servant of the King, is first instructed to serve and obey Christ. That includes testing, trying, examining and proving everything her husband asks her to do, and then doing it for her husband as if she were doing it for Christ.

If her husband asks her disobey her Father in Heaven and her King, then like Daniel, Abednego & Co, Moses' parents and the apostles in Acts 4, she respectfully disobeys (Ephes 5:7-11) her husband's request that she sin and fearlessly she relates to him according to the Word in 1 Peter 2:20-3:7.
Ephes 5:21 Submit yourselves<5293> to each other in the reverential fear and awe of Christ 22 A wife should be submitting<5293> herself to her own husband, as she does to the Lord. 23 A husband is the head of his wife, as Christ is the head and the Savior of the church, which is His own body. 24 But as the church submits itself to Christ, so also wives should submit themselves<5293> in everything to their husbands..
25 A husband should patiently, kindly, gently, fairly, humbly, unselfishly, optimistically, politely and respectfully Love his wife as Christ Loved the church and gave His life for her, 26 so that He might set her apart exclusively for Himself, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, 27 so that He might present the church to Himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish.
28 In the same way, a husband should patiently, kindly, gently, fairly, humbly, unselfishly, optimistically, politely and respectfully Love his wife as much as he Loves himself. Our obedience to His Word is the proof that we are in Christ.

The wife who continues to disobey the Word of God should be dealt with according to Gala 6:1; 2 Tim 2:24-26; Matt 18:15-18; 1 Cor 5:3-5; Rom 16:17,18.
Living in disobedience to His Word without 1 Cor 11:30-32 chastening (Heb 12) is proof that the one who continues to be disobedient does not know God.
***1 John 3:6 No one who lives in Him [deliberately and knowingly] keeps on doing sin. No one who [deliberately and knowingly] continues to do a sin has either seen Him or known Him. 7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that keeps on doing righteousness is righteous, even as He is righteous. 8 He who [deliberately and knowingly] continues to do sin is of the devil; for the devil keeps on sinning from the beginning.
[6] FINANCES, SPENDING AND BUDGETING
Acts 2: "44 And all who believed were together and had
all things shared [by all]. 45 And they sold their possessions and
goods and distributed them to all, according as anyone had
need. 46 And continuing with one accord in the temple, and
breaking bread from house to house, they shared food with
gladness and simplicity of heart, 47 praising God and having
favor with all the people. . . ."
In marriage that looks like this: The believing couple were together and shared
all things. And they distributed their possessions and goods to each other
according as each had need. They shared their food with gladness and simplicity
of heart.
2 Corinth 8:7 Now as you excel in everything—faith, speech, knowledge, and in all diligence, and in your love for us—excel also in this grace. . . . 11 . . . there was a readiness to desire it, so there also may be a completion out of what you have. 12 For if there is first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what one has, and not according to what he does not have. 13 It is not that there may be relief for others and hardship for you, but it is a question of equality and fair reciprocity— 14 at the present time your surplus is available for their need, so their abundance may also become available for our need, so there may be equality and fair reciprocity. 15 As it has been written:
The person who gathered much did not have too much, and the person who gathered little did not have too little. . . .

Acts 4: "32 ¶ And the multitude of those who believed
were of one heart and one soul. And not one said that any of
the things which he possessed was his own, but they shared all
things in common. 33 . . . And great grace was on them all. 34
For neither was anyone needy among
them, for as many as were owners of lands or houses sold
[them] and brought the prices of the [things] that were sold,
35 and they laid [them] down at the apostles' feet. And
distribution was made to every man according as he had need."
In marriage that looks like this: They believed and were of one heart and soul, and neither said that any of the things which each possessed was her/his own, but shared all things in common. Distribution was made to each other according to each's need.
[7] MARITAL SEX
***1 Corinth 7: 1* ¶ But concerning the things of which you have written to me: It is good for a male not to continue -keep on - touching a woman; 2 but because of [and to avoid] sexual immorality each man should be [sexually] having his own<1438> woman, and each woman should be [sexually] having her own<2398> man.
T: These are God's commands, so if the husband isn't sexually having his own woman, the wife is still under command to be sexually having her own man, or at least to be making a good effort to try to do so.
***Prov. "5:18 Your fountain should be blessed; and rejoice and be glad with the wife of your youth. 19 . . . her breasts should satisfy/intoxicate/saturate you at all times; you should be intoxicated continually with her affectionate loving."
T: That means the wife lets the husband know that he is welcome to delight in her breasts, that she encourages and allows him to satisfy/intoxicate/saturate himself by means of her breasts, that he is welcome to delight in her affectionate loving, and that she encourages and allows him to be intoxicated continually with her affectionate loving.
***1 Cor 7:3 The husband should be rendering unto the wife [the] kindness, intimate marital duty, benevolence and good will <Strong's 2133> [that is] due, owed and obligated <Strong's 3784> ; and likewise also the wife [should be rendering the kindness, intimate marital duty, benevolence and good will that is due, owed and obligated] unto the husband.
***Eccles 9:9 Enjoy life with your wife, whom you love, all the days of this vainly fleeting life that God has given you [in your body] under the sun— all your vainly fleeting days. For this is your lot in life and in your toilsome labor under the sun.

[2] GOD HAS ESTABLISHED A SOCIAL ORDER<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
***1 Cor 11:2 Now I commend you because you remember me in everything and maintain the traditions even as I delivered them to you, 3 and I wish you to know that of every man the Head is the Christ, and the head of a wife is her husband, and the Head of Christ is God. 4 Any man who prays or prophesies with his head covered disgraces/dishonors/shames his head[, Christ]; 5 but any wife who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered disgraces/dishonors/shames her head[, her husband]. . . . 7 For indeed a man . . . is the image and glory of God, but the woman is the glory of the man. 8 For man was not made from woman, but woman from man; 9 and indeed man was not created for the sake of the woman but woman for the sake of the man. . . 10 This is why a woman should have a symbol of authority on her head, because of the angels. 11 Nevertheless, in union with the Lord neither is woman independent of man nor is man independent of woman; 12 for just as woman came from man, so man comes through woman, and all things come from God.
T: The "symbol of authority on her head" can take the form of a hat, cap, hair band, scarf or veil. An American woman can wear a hat, cap, scarf, hair band or bandana as a "symbol of authority on her head"
without violating female American cultural norms. From this we see that Jesus has appointed roles and a hierarchy in male and female relationships. Angels are authorized to punish sinners (Acts 12:23). Angels are under the authority of God, know it and act accordingly; so they know wives are under their husband's authority and expect them to act accordingly. The angels are watching us to see what God is doing in our lives and learn about the nature and character of God (1 Cor 4:9; Ephes 3:9,10; Heb 1:13-14; 12:1-2). If the wife or the husband does not submit to and obey the directions of Jesus, just as the angels were used to punish the defiant Egyptians, they can be used to discipline people (1 Cor 11:30-34; 1 Tim 5:21; Hebrews 12; Revelation 8; 9:15; 14:14-19; 16:1-17).
***Ephes 5:23 A husband is the head of his wife, as Christ is the head and the Savior of the church, which is His own body. 24 But as the church submits itself to Christ, so also wives should submit themselves<5293> in everything to their husbands. +++

T: It is significant that Jesus chose only males to be His Apostles, His designated representatives on earth and to the Church; that Jesus ordained that only men should be the elders, bishops, leaders, deacons etc of the Church (1 Timothy 3 Titus 1); that Jesus forbade wives from dominating, bossing, discipling, having and using authority over husbands (1 Tim 2:11,12; 1 Peter 3:1-6). From 1 Corinthians 11 above we see the following:
1*The Head of a husband is Christ.
1*The head of a wife is her husband.
2*It disgraces, shames and dishonors Christ for the man who prays or teaches and has a symbol of some other authority on/over his head other than Christ.
2*A wife disgraces, shames and dishonors her husband if she prays or teaches and does not have some symbol showing that she is under her husband's authority.
3*A man is the image and glory of God
3*The wife is the glory of her husband.
4* The husband is dependent on the wife.
4* The wife was created for the sake of the husband.
5* The husband depends on the wife, his God given helper.
5* The wife depends on the husband, the one she is given to help.
6* Now men come by birth through the woman.
6* Originally the wife was created from the man.
T: The wife's responsibility is [1] like the Bereans (Acts 17:10-12), to test, try, examine and scrutinize (1 Thess 5:21) what the husband is teaching her and asking her to do for her to see if she can obey it without disobeying God's Word and then hold on tight to what she has found to be in agreement with God's Word(1 Thess 5:21); and [2] to humbly and respectfully refrain from doing anything her husband asks her to do that is evil, sinful or wrong (Ephes 5:7-11) or about which she has genuine doubts about it being right and acceptable to God (Romans 14:19-23). In the event the wife chooses to not do what her husband asks her to do, the Word instructs him to do the following: Galatians 6:1; 2 Tim 2:24-26; Matthew 18:15-17; and 1 Corinthians 5:3-5,11.

T: Just as this applies to the appointed and official leaders in the local assembly of believers, as they lead that local group, it also applies to the husband whose appointed authority the wife has accepted when she married him. If she doesn't want to be under the authority of a husband, she shouldn't marry. The husband is under Jesus' command to teach and disciple his wife (Matthew 28:9,10). The wife is instructed NOT to teach or disciple her husband (1 Tim 2:11,12; 1 Peter 3:1-6). The wife's responsibility is [1] like the Bereans (Acts 17:10-12), to test, try, examine and scrutinize (1 Thess 5:21) what the husband is teaching her and asking her to do for her to see if she can obey it without disobeying God's Word and then hold on tight to what she has found to be in agreement with God's Word(1 Thess 5:21); and [2] to humbly and respectfully refrain from doing anything her husband asks her to do that is evil, sinful or wrong (Ephes 5:7-11) or about which she has genuine doubts about it being right and acceptable to God (Romans 14:19-23). In the event the wife chooses to not do what her husband asks her to do, the Word instructs him to do the following: Galatians 6:1; 2 Tim 2:24-26; Matthew 18:15-17; and 1 Corinthians 5:3-5,11.

I hope any husband reading this has learned the message that the husband is under God's command to NOT control, subjugate, make obey, cause to be submissive, rule, and/or have dominion over his wife. It is her free choice to choose to obey and submit herself to her husband, or to not do so. Our obedience to His Word is the proof that we are in Christ.

[4] Married Women and Single Women - The Difference<<<<<<
First of all ladies, please be mindful of the fact that the instructions to wives given below are not instructions to single women. If the instructions given to wives below are unpleasant and objectionable to you, then you should remain single, unmarried and serve the Lord that way, if you can do so abstaining from sexual immorality. If you don't abstain consistently from sexual immorality, then you are under 1 Cor 7:2 and 9 command to be married.

[5] THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR WIVES<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
The wife, as a child of God, a citizen of the Kingdom of God and a servant of the King, is first instructed to serve and obey Christ. That includes testing, trying, examining and proving everything her husband asks her to do, and then doing it for her husband as if she were doing it for Christ.

[6] FINANCES, SPENDING AND BUDGETING
Acts 2: "44 And all who believed were together and had
all things shared [by all]. 45 And they sold their possessions and

breaking bread from house to house, they shared food with
gladness and simplicity of heart, 47 praising God and having

In marriage that looks like this: The believing couple were together and shared
all things. And they distributed their possessions and goods to each other
according as each had need. They shared their food with gladness and simplicity
of heart.
2 Corinth 8:7 Now as you excel in everything—faith, speech, knowledge, and in all diligence, and in your love for us—excel also in this grace. . . . 11 . . . there was a readiness to desire it, so there also may be a completion out of what you have. 12 For if there is first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what one has, and not according to what he does not have. 13 It is not that there may be relief for others and hardship for you, but it is a question of equality and fair reciprocity— 14 at the present time your surplus is available for their need, so their abundance may also become available for our need, so there may be equality and fair reciprocity. 15 As it has been written:

In marriage that looks like this: They believed and were of one heart and soul, and neither said that any of the things which each possessed was her/his own, but shared all things in common. Distribution was made to each other according to each's need.
[7] MARITAL SEX
***1 Corinth 7: 1* ¶ But concerning the things of which you have written to me: It is good for a male not to continue -keep on - touching a woman; 2 but because of [and to avoid] sexual immorality each man should be [sexually] having his own<1438> woman, and each woman should be [sexually] having her own<2398> man.
T: These are God's commands, so if the husband isn't sexually having his own woman, the wife is still under command to be sexually having her own man, or at least to be making a good effort to try to do so.
***Prov. "5:18 Your fountain should be blessed; and rejoice and be glad with the wife of your youth. 19 . . . her breasts should satisfy/intoxicate/saturate you at all times; you should be intoxicated continually with her affectionate loving."
T: That means the wife lets the husband know that he is welcome to delight in her breasts, that she encourages and allows him to satisfy/intoxicate/saturate himself by means of her breasts, that he is welcome to delight in her affectionate loving, and that she encourages and allows him to be intoxicated continually with her affectionate loving.
