I'm considering leaving my current place of employment for a better opportunity. I know there are a bunch of companies in Portland looking for Ruby developers, but I can't remember them all. The first place I know to look is toprubyjobs.com but I'm assuming it costs money to post there, which is why I never see very many jobs listed. Does anyone know of a list that aggregates all of the Ruby job openings in Portland?

Thanks,
Andrew

I don't know of any better resource than this list.

We're hiring at http://www.theclymb.com/ if you're interested in Rails
and e-commerce work.

(I hope you've told your coworkers you're thinking of moving on,
because you probably just did!)

I get a fair number of inquiries from recruiters (mostly via my resume
website, some through LinkedIn); ping me off-list and I'll see if any
recent ones may be of interest.

Earlier this year, Merlyn Albery-Speyer put together a Rails app to
aggregate Portland job listings: http://techlandia.herokuapp.com/

Off the top of my head, I've recently seen job posts from:
CrowdCompass, GoldStar, and New Relic. I don't know whether Elemental
Technologies (our hosts for next week's meeting) are currently hiring
as well, but I'm sure they'll contact you if they are.

And finally, Chad Fowler would probably take out a contract on my life
if I failed to mention that LivingSocial is hiring (see also:
http://islivingsocialhiring.com/). We've got roughly a dozen
developers in the Portland area... so far. (Muahahaha.) Again, ping
me off-list if you want me to sic our recruiter on you. (=
