Hello everyone, I am a university student from Toronto, and i am hoping to get a grasp of maqam nahawand since my voice aligns with this maqam the most.
Insha'allah we will see! i am hoping to become familiar with one maqam, maybe another one will become easier for me through practice Insha'allah.

Bayati isn't too bad but Nahawand is a challenge for
me but this is the one I want to learn the most…:(.....

Assalamu alaikum
For me, i feel so far maqam rast is the hardest. However, insha'allah you never know, after practise, there has to be at least one maqam that one can feel comfortable matching his/her voice with! We will just have to see! I still have trouble differentiating between maqams, so that is the first step, insha'allah.
