Hi,

what's the best way to disable the /install pages after the installation? I could probably edit the web.xml in

openmeetings_1_8_1_r4260/webapps/openmeetings$ less WEB-INF/web.xml

but that would make updates somewhat cumbersome:-( Any better way?

Thanks,

Something like http://demo.openmeetings.de/openmeetings/install should probably disappear.

There is no need for doing that.
After installation there is a file called "install.xml" in the conf folder.

Just reload the install page after installation, you will see nobody can run the installer two times.

If you really want to prevent that the path is visible you should remove it in the web.xml
But anyway .. there is actually no need to do this.

as explained personally. This was my fault. I did an update without
using the installer.

The installer is only one time available.
What you see can never happen any usual user, only "experts" like me
that do not use the installer and use some tricks to update the
system.
