I could have -sworn- there used to be a shared web browsing feature in
openmeetings but I'll be darned if I can find it anymore. Did that
get removed?

Would be -really- useful for the remote training our fire department
is using openmeetings for.

Well - you can share your screen with all the participants. So you can share any application you want - also a web browser.

Was thinking more along the lines of sending people to certain URLs to collectively watch videos during training. Screens Sharing will not work for this.
